Ingredients for the Sauce

  • 1 1/2 tbsp Shan’shi soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Shan’shi rice vinegar
  • A splash of water
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp potato starch
  • 1/2-1 tsp Szechuan pepper powder

Ingredients for the Shrimp

  • 2 packs Iglo king prawns
  • ½ tsp potato starch
  • Shaoxing wine
  • A pinch of salt
  • White pepper
  • 1 tbsp Shan’shi peanut oil

Other ingredients

  • 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger, finely chopped
  • 3-5 dried red chilies, deseeded and roughly chopped
  • 2-3 spring onions, roughly chopped
  • 3 tbsp peanuts, roasted and unsalted
  • Peanut oil

preparation

1. Prepare the shrimp:
Thaw the shrimp according to package instructions and pat dry.
Marinate with Shaoxing wine, a pinch of salt, white pepper, and 1 tbsp peanut oil. Add the potato starch just before cooking.

2. Prepare the sauce:
Mix the ingredients (soy sauce, rice vinegar, water, sugar, potato starch, Szechuan pepper powder) for the sauce in a bowl.

3. Sauté the shrimp:
Heat a wok on high, add some oil, and sauté the shrimp until they turn slightly pink. Remove and set aside.

4. Sauté the vegetables:
Sauté the garlic, ginger, chilies, and spring onions over medium heat.

5. Add the shrimp and sauce:
Turn up the heat and add the shrimp back into the wok.
Add the sauce, which should thicken quickly, and finally mix in the peanuts.

  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 2 carrots, roughly sliced diagonally
  • 1 large potato, cut into cubes
  • 200 ml vegetable stock
  • 1-2 teaspoons fish sauce
  • 1-2 teaspoons sugar (to taste)
  • Thai basil

preparation

In a pan, fry the yellow curry paste in a little oil to release its flavors optimally.

Deglaze the mixture with vegetable stock and mix well. Add the tamarind paste, fish sauce and sugar.

Simmer briefly, then pour in the coconut milk to create a rich sauce.

Add the roughly chopped carrots and diced potato to the pan. Cook for 10 minutes until the potato pieces are almost cooked and the vegetables are well cooked.

Add the bamboo shoots and prawns. Continue cooking until the prawns are cooked through and have combined with the flavors of the curry.

Garnish the dish with fresh Thai basil and finely chopped chillies to bring out the flavors.

  • 1 red pepper
  • 2 limes
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 80ml oil
  • 6 pc Shelled shrimp

  • Wash Chinese cabbage and cut into 1 cm thick strips. Clean the peppers and cut into fine strips. Squeeze limes.
  • Prepare the dressing: mix the lime juice with Sojasauce , brown sugar and oil vigorously.
  • Fry the prawns in a skillet over medium-high heat for a minute on each side. Add the sweet chilli sauce and fry for another minute, then set aside.
  • Mix the Chinese cabbage, spinach, peppers and Bohnenkeimlinge together. Place on a plate and pour plenty of dressing over it. Arrange the fried shrimp on the side.

  • 400g broccoli
  • 1 large clove of garlic
  • 2 small zucchini
  • 20 medium sized peeled prawns
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 500ml water (or clear soup)

  • Shiitake mushrooms min. Soak in water for 15 minutes.
  • Cut the spring onions into 1 cm wide pieces. Cut the garlic, broccoli and zucchini into small pieces. Place the chopped vegetables in a sieve together with the shiitake mushrooms and wash with water.
  • Pour Woköl into the heated wok. Fry the garlic and shrimp and deglaze with lemon juice. Add the vegetables and shiitake mushrooms and fry briefly. Then season with Thai Chilisauce and Sojasauce . Add Woknudeln without pre-cooking and 500ml water (or soup) to the wok, stir from time to time and let simmer for about 5 minutes over medium heat.

  • Prepare rice noodles according to package instructions and set aside.

  • Peel and dice the onion and garlic. Add both to the thawed vegetable mixture and add the rice noodles. Salt and pepper as needed.
  • Heat some Erdnussöl in a pan and sear the shrimp in it. Remove shrimp from pan and set aside.
  • Add the seasoning, Kokosmilch , and Sojasauce mixture to the pan and heat for a few minutes.
