Lo mein with pork


A revelation with ginger and spring onions.

  • 200 g pork (filet or minute steaks)
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 120 grams of mushrooms
  • 2 spring onions
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 large carrot
  • 2 tablespoons oel


  • Cut the pork into fine strips. Prepare Asian marinade from Sojasauce , sweet chilli sauce and brown sugar and place the meat in it.
  • Clean the mushrooms with a damp kitchen towel and cut into quarters. Clean the spring onions and cut into rings about 0.5 cm thick. Finely chop the garlic. Peel the carrot, halve lengthways and cut into narrow crescents.
  • Prepare egg noodles according to package instructions.
  • Meanwhile, put oil in a hot wok and fry the pork in it. Set aside the remaining marinade. Add carrots. After a minute, add the garlic and mushrooms.
  • Add the spring onions to the meat and toss through. Add the rest of the Asian marinade and the freshly drained egg noodles.
