Indonesian omelet

  • 1 carrot
  • 1 tsp coriander (fresh or dried)
  • 1/2 onion
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 pinch Salt


  • Peel the carrot and cut into thin strips or small cubes. Peel and finely chop the onions.
  • Whisk eggs in a bowl and season with Sambal Oelek , coriander and Salt .
  • Heat wok or pan. Add Erdnussöl and stir-fry the vegetables briefly.
  • Spread the egg mixture evenly on top, turn down the heat and fry.
  • After about 4 minutes, turn the omelette carefully and fry the other side until crispy.
